1. UserDiag
- All web services and software of the project are included under the name « UserDiag ».
- UserDiag is a project/service aimed at providing a diagnostic tool to retrieve hardware characteristics of a device running on compatible Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- This project is carried out by an individual for non-commercial purposes.
- The non-profit association CTRL-F holds the rights to use, operate and distribution.
- This set is connected to the web service which is (currently) the convergent point, having an API and multiple databases.
- The server hosting is provided by Contabo at 41 rue Schönenkamp, Düsseldorf (40599), Germany.
- By accessing/browsing the website or using the application provided by UserDiag, you implicitly accept the terms of use.
2. Userdiag Usage
- The user is solely responsible. UserDiag and the people related to the project cannot be held responsible in case of problems or misuse.
- By using it, you agree that all anonymous and non-confidential information collected by UserDiag may be publicly accessible for an indefinite period.
- Any reproduction, decompilation, or modification of the services and applications provided directly by UserDiag without authorization is prohibited.
Also, third-party tools integrated into UserDiag are subject to their own licenses and terms of use, and the use of these tools must comply with these licenses and terms. - Redistribution must comply with the terms and conditions of the previously mentioned license.
- Some services integrated into UserDiag include information and resources that may come from other websites.
UserDiag does not control these resources, and you acknowledge and agree that UserDiag cannot be held responsible for the availability or relevance of this content. - Some tools integrated into UserDiag such as HWiNFO, FurMark 2, CPU-Z, Prime95, CrystalDiskInfo, diskspd or PresentMon do not belong to UserDiag.
However, UserDiag has the right to use these tools, granted via their licenses or owners, for non-commercial purposes.
3. Cookies
- Cookies may be created during your use or navigation on the site in order to provide functionalities.
- These cookies are stored on your browser even after it is closed, for a period not exceeding one year.
- ud_user: Cookie used by UserDiag to provide the list of user diagnostics accessible with one click via a tab.
- ud_theme: Cookie used to store the chosen theme (light/dark).
- ud_locale: Cookie used to store the user's chosen language.
- cf_clearance: Cookie used by CloudFlare to store proof of the successful challenge.
- __cf_bm: Cookie used by CloudFlare for its security tools.
4. Privacy
- UserDiag may collect anonymous data at specific times. This data may be collected during your visit to the site, during the download, and during the use of the application when sending the diagnostic.
- All data collected during the use of the application is accessible in the diagnostic report once it is completed.
- No serial number, MAC address, or other unique information is linked to the diagnostic.
- Certain information present in the application's logs may be sent if needed and then automatically deleted after a few hours, for debugging purposes only.
- Web server logs containing the IP address and user agent are kept for a maximum of 6 months (6 months maximum are allowed by the CNIL).
- The website uses CloudFlare to enhance security and availability. CloudFlare may collect information such as IP addresses and browser information to provide its services.
